Last week I
was lucky to score a media pass to visit World MasterCard Fashion Week Toronto.
On day 5 I visited designer Brit Wacher's WMCFW debut at David Pecaut Square
where I sat front row. Wacher, who is based in Quebec city, artfully played
with length, structure, and draping throughout her fall 2014 collection. This
18-piece collection featured a sleek, sexy and dark vibe that reminded me of an
Amish good girl, gone gothic. The designer’s attention to off-putting angles,
sexy long lines, and dark neutrals with pops of forest green, was a fresh look
compared to the large amount of ready to wear collections shown at WMCFW this
past week.
