I love mixing blue stripes with a pop of red, very reminiscent of all things nautical. The combination is so fun and light-hearted... and easy to create! Here are a couple of examples from my own closet:
A blue striped body con skirt contrasting a loose grey tank. When wearing bright colours, keep the rest of the outfit grounded. Simplicity, and usually monochromatic shades work best.
This drop-waist skirt brings a girly vibe into the casual outfit. Red lips (or nails) with a pair of flip-flops would make this outfit even more laid-back.
... And I assume we can all agree that (p)leather makes anyone look a little more badass?!
