Garment Pull Behind The Scenes

Last week, I prepared the garment pull for the editorial shoot Sandy and I had partnered up for. My boyfriend's brother was kind enough to let me shoot in his studio. He set up a big AlienBee flash that was used with a wireless trigger to take these photos.

These heels by Nine West, were provided by my friend (and our model for the shoot). I love the modern twist to the classic black pumps.

This is an up close of a printed midi skirt from Zara - also comes in black with white marbling. We paired this skirt with a very light heather grey cropped top and the heels pictured above- looked great on our model.

This dress was purchased at TopShop - the print on print really made it a fun and unique piece. Worn with bright heels and clutch makes this outfit ultra girly.

Organizing things neatly takes more effort than you think.. some garments like this chiffon tank are definitely meant to be hung, not folded! Something about this effortless outfit won a unanimous approval from model, creative directer and photographer ;)

  1. The blog brief was very particular about the use of 'behind the scenes for assignment 2'. This post does not count against your three for the term.
